SEND at Woodside

Our vision for children with special educational needs and disabilities is the same as for all children – that they achieve well in their early years, at school and in college, and lead happy and fulfilled lives.

Speech, Language and Communication

We have two ELKLAN Level 3 LSAs, who support children throughout the school with their speech and communication needs. They are our Communication Champions.

For information, workshops, webinars and contacts, please visit the Hertfordshire Community Trust NHS website.

Woodside has achieved the Herts Shining Communication Award. This award recognises all the strategies, support and good practice in place throughout our school to support learners with their communication needs, as well as raising the profile of speech, language and communication needs across the school.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
